lndigenous peoples of North America have used many medicines over the centuries. The four sacred medicines Tobacco, Sage, Cedar, and Sweet Grass are tools with variations from Nation to Nation. These medicines are considered sacred as they were gifted to us by the Creator and together, they are used as a way to communicate with the creator.
Each of the following sacred medicines has inspired four distinct artwork pieces, serving as the foundation for our collection : tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass.
