We adapt our designs, materials and technologies to offer envinonmentaly friendly practices that respect both nature and human health. Our vision is to minimize our environmental footprint. Our vision of sustainable development is rooted in our history and our commitment to the community of Saint-Georges de Beauce, and we are proud to actively contribute to the preservation of our local heritage and our planet.
For the first time, stain-resistant carpets are not created at the expense of the environment. Imagination is endless. Just like ECONYL®.
Our desire to create and purchase new products is infinite, but resources are not. ECONYL® regenerated nylon transforms the problems caused by textile waste and residues into fashion solutions and exceptional interior designs. ECONYL® is made by recovering nylon waste - such as fishing nets from oceans and aquaculture, fabric waste from factories and carpets destined for landfill - and transforming it into high-quality virgin nylon yarn.
The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring, and industrial plastics from landfills and oceans around the world.
This waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover as much nylon as possible.

Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste
is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL®
regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into carpet yarn.

L’environnement et la durabilité de nos produits sont au coeur de la réussite même de l’entreprise et de l’évolution de nos pratiques.

"ECONYL® StayClean" is made by recovering nylon waste, such as fishing nets used in the sea and aquaculture, fabric waste from factories, and carpets destined for landfill sites. Thanks to the ECONYL® regeneration system, this waste is transformed into regenerated nylon yarn that can be recycled infinitely. No waste, no new resources: only endless possibilities.
In addition to offering a practical solution to the problem of textile waste accumulation, "ECONYL® StayClean" is also an excellent alternative for countering the harmful effects of climate change. It reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 80% compared with other petroleum-based materials. What's more, carpets made with "ECONYL® StayClean" fiber emit negligible amounts of total VOCs. Finally, ECONYL® contributes to LEED v.4 credits in four categories.

In addition to being a waste-reduction solution, ECONYL® regenerated nylon contributes to the fight against climate change, reducing nylon's impact on global warming by up to 80% compared with materials derived directly from petroleum.
Our team of high-calibre professionals has focused on designing products that contribute to LEED credits in categories such as use of recycled content, compliance with indoor air quality standards and choice of local materials. As we added to our certifications, in particular LEED and HPD, we realized that we could further improve our products to reduce their impact on the environment. As a result, our new products are made exclusively from recycled nylon. Also, analysis of the environmental and health impact of each ingredient prompted us to pursue our research into the development of more environmentally-friendly carpet backing technologies.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a registered and independently verified document that communicates transparent and comparable information about the environmental impact of products and their life cycle.

The Canada Green Building Council is a national not-for-profit organization that has been promoting sustainable building practices and sustainable community development across Canada since 2002. The CaGBC holds the license to use the LEED green building rating system in Canada and supports the WELL Building Standard and GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) in Canada.

The Health Product Declaration® (HPD®) report sets the standard for ingredient transparency in terms of chemicals used in materials and lists all ingredients of a product and their associated health effects. Download our HPD document +

The environment and sustainability Green Label Plus (GLP) guarantees the purchase of a carpet that meets the best market criteria for emitting dangerous particles for the environment and health.

We have agreements with various partners who will be responsible for collecting carpets at the end of their useful life for recycling.
