The Anticosti and Mingan collections capture the beauty of Quebec’s landscapes through modular carpets that are balanced, structured and versatile. From patterns to colors, every detail is designed to strengthen the connection between indoor spaces and nature, while meeting the highest standards of performance and environmental responsibility.
Discover how these collections transform interiors by drawing on the principles of bio-inspiration and embracing a sustainable design approach.
Bio-inspiration involves drawing from the shapes, textures, colors and atmospheres found in nature to guide the design processs. It allows natural elements to be translated into objects and spaces, creating visual and sensory connections.
Frank Lloyd Wright, a pioneer of organic architecture, advocated for a built environment that integrates seamlessly with the landscape, creating continuity between people, place and nature. He sought to design spaces that extend, support and elevate the natural surroundings rather than compete with them.
"Organic architecture aims to find a higher meaning in utility and a finer conception of comfort, expressed through organic simplicity." - Frank Lloyd Wright
It is within this perspective that the Anticosti and Mingan collections were designed. They capture the spirit of the coastline through modular carpet patterns that evoke rock formations, water movement and vegetation. Each tile becomes a textured surface that echoes the richness of the region.
Named after the river that flows into the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Mingan collection draws inspiration from the mineral and plant landscapes of Quebec’s Côte-Nord region. It comes in three styles: Dolomite, Shale and Gneiss. With its bold patterns and earthy tones, the collection enhances the sense of depth and movement.

Named in honor of the Quebec island that inspired it, the Anticosti collection includes three distinct styles: Lichen, Sphagnum and Hypnum. Its subtle patterns create the impression of a softened imprint, reinforcing a sense of calm and authenticity.
Discover the transformative power of Anticosti
Anticosti and Mingan stand out through a distinctive design approach. Rather than being applied uniformly, colors appear in controlled bursts, creating a refined sense of visual intermittence. This fragmented linearity results in textured surfaces that feel dynamic yet subtle, where each tile contributes to a larger composition. The intentional asymmetry brings a soft, organic visual richness to interior spaces.
Their modular format, available in planks or tiles, opens up a wide range of layout possibilities. Whether used to add warmth, define shared zones or elevate the overall aesthetic, these collections support a design vision that is both functional and inspired.

The Anticosti and Mingan collections reflect a sustainable design approach that goes beyond aesthetics. They combine recycled materials with a circular mindset.
At Venture, all of our modular carpets are made from ECONYL® regenerated nylon, a fiber produced from recovered waste such as fishing nets, used carpets and industrial scraps. This thoughtful material choice helps repurpose existing resources while reducing our environmental impact.
For us, sustainability is not only about materials. It also involves considering the entire product lifecycle — its durability, its resistance to everyday use, and its ability to remain relevant over time. These collections were developed with those priorities in mind, helping reduce the need for frequent replacement and minimizing long-term environmental impact.

Anticosti and Mingan encourage a new approach to commercial design by drawing from the most harmonious aspects of nature. These collections reflect a vision where people, materials and the environment coexist in a way that is both cohesive and adaptable. Designed to offer flexibility, they allow for layouts that are both dynamic and calming, depending on the needs of the project.
